Rag Rug Woven from Denim

This series of rag rugs were woven from thin strips of denim, cut from jeans on a tweedy blue cotton string that is a 74% cotton, 25%acrylic yarn.  I was very pleased with the final effect. I wove several, but every one is different, slightly different colours of denim used, and varying lengths. I was aiming for more short lengths, as they are so useful in smaller kitchens and bathrooms. They really showcase the variety of blues that are the reason we have a love affair with denim! Machine washable with warm water, lay flat, line dry or rack dry. This one is 18 inchesX 35inches, 46 cmX89 cm. This one is a blend of colours of blue, sort of medium all in all.
