Handwoven baskets, often multimedia, are created with materials that grow in eastern Ontario and use accent pieces gathered on my travels.

The natural colours of twigs and grasses are always popular. I also like to use very rich dyed and overdyed colours in some baskets. Willow bird houses are functional and attractive in the garden.

Garlic Baskets. Varying shapes and sizes of airy baskets keep the garlic cloves fresh and close at hand.

Bowl-type baskets, flat-on-the-back wall baskets and baskets with handles are available. I especially like the Japanese Random Weave technique. Random weave fruit bowls are a good place to set fruit as air circulation allows fruit to ripen more easily and cuts down on spoilage.
